Reference photo from a random google image of tiny home.

I started by sketching out the image then sketched a small thumbnail to work out where my highlights and shadows would be.

Below is the sketch done in ballpoint pen.

For this piece, I just wanted to have fun so I used cheap watercolour paints I've had for a long time now, by Pentel.

I started with the highlights on the trees using a yellow colour.

Then I added some light green.

Then as you can see, I added some darker greens and blue to create the shadows and depth.

The cabin itself I just mixed random earth tones together until I felt happy with how the piece looked. i aimed for a grey roof, brick-ish red facade, and a timber brown door.
